Quaker Multigrain Bread
A Bread Machine Recipe
For a 1 1/2 pound loaf:
1
cup Quaker multigrain cereal
1
1/4 cup buttermilk *
3 Tablespoons molasses
2
cup bread flour plus 2 Tablespoons
1/2
cup whole wheat flour
1
1/2 teaspoons salt
1
1/2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
3
1/2 Tablespoons gluten
3
teaspoons Red Star active dry yeast
For a 1 pound loaf:
2/3
cup Quaker multigrain cereal
3/4
cup buttermilk **
2
Tablespoons molasses
1
1/3 cup bread flour
1/3
cup whole wheat flour
1
teaspoon salt
1
Tablespoon butter or margarine
2
Tablespoons gluten
2
teaspoons Red Star active dry yeast
Have ingredients at room temperature.
Place all ingredients in bread pan
according to manufacturers instructions.
Use Light setting.
Notes:
For
my
* For Welbilt/DAK
and Zojirushi machines, add 3 tablespoons more buttermilk.
** For Welbilt machine, add 1 tablespoon more buttermilk.
